Jerry B. Chernock, Vice President

Mr. Chernock is a Vice President at DC Capital Partners. He is responsible for identifying, evaluating, valuing, and executing investment opportunities. Mr. Chernock is active in monitoring and advising portfolio companies along with assessing, financing, and executing add-on acquisition opportunities. Mr. Chernock’s notable investment experience includes DC Capital’s investments in Catapult Technology, Computer Security Solutions, Michael Baker Corporation, Pacific Municipal Consultants, and most recently Owl Cyber Defense and QRC Technologies.

Previously, Mr. Chernock was an investment banker at Jefferies & Company, where he advised on the sale of two of DC Capital Partners' realized investments: National Interest Security Company and International Development Solutions. At Jefferies, he led deal teams through a range of M&A and financing transactions and advised clients on government sector trends, strategic assessments, financing alternatives, and valuation analyses.

Mr. Chernock received a B.S. degree with a double major in Finance and Accounting from the University of Maryland. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors of Mount Saint Joseph.
